Event 1: The Generation of Change- Film Screening + Panel Discussion
Date: 25th March 2019
This short documentary highlights the power of the next generation of leaders who are accelerating change. By portraying the unique experiences of emerging leaders who are inspiring others and having an impact in the Australian community, co-producers Madison and Kim hope to create a compelling narrative that captures the story of our generation.
Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion and networking.
Panellists: Matthew Boyd, CEO and co-founder of Vollie, Sherry-Rose Bih Watts, founder of WomanGirl and William Mezner, Youth Lead and National Facilitator of VGen - World Vision.
Event 5: Solutions For A Greener World

Climate change, environmental degradation, and wildlife extinction are some of the pressing challenges that we face currently and in the years to come.Tackling these issues alone can seem overwhelming and insurmountable. However, if we work together, the opportunities to create sustainable change and innovative solutions are infinite.
Come along and hear the diverse perspectives from leading innovators across the social impact space including: activism, clean technology, environmental conservation.

🌱Charlot Magayi - 2019 Waislitz Global Citizen Award prize winner
Charlot founded Mukuru Clean Stoves a fast-growing Kenyan social enterprise that reduces household air pollution, lowers fuel costs and improves health and safety for low income families.
🌱Leigh Ewbank is a long-time campaigner at Friends of the Earth. He coordinated the successful community campaign for a Victorian Renewable Energy Target. Leigh and the FoE’s determined Act on Climate collective are leading the charge for the Andrews government to deliver science-based Emissions Reduction Targets this year and the state’s first Climate Budget.
🌱Neil Morris is a Yorta Yorta person and an artist who uses his platform with project DRMNGNOW to raise awareness of the ongoing injustices that First Nations peoples of this land are subjected to. Neil's work extends out into community based action through various mediums which has a strong environmental/ Indigenous sovereignty, self determination, decolonisation and Indigenising focus.

Theme: How will YOU be the change you wish to see in the world?
Our speakers are from diverse backgrounds with awesome ideas and are working on incredible projects to create positive change.
At the event, attendees will be able to cast their vote for their favourite speaker. Also, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from and connect with some of Melbourne's most innovative and passionate changemakers.

Event 6: A Virtual Campfire

COVID -19 got you feelin’ the blues?
It seems like the world doesn’t know what to do?Although we’re physically separated, let’s find ways to stay socially connected!
Tune into Zoom next Thursday 26th March at 6pm AEDT.
Join us for our virtual campfire with the world!
Our discussion will centre around “Staying human in the digital”, featuring a special guest who will share their insights and tips on how we can nurture our humanity and continue to thrive during this time of physical disconnect.
We will then break off into groups virtually and partake in group discussions led by facilitators from Australia’s social impact space.
This is an open conversation for absolutely anyone, anywhere around the world to help shape.
Our aim is to curate positive actions to stay socially connected.
Event 3: Connect Four
Date: 18th September 2019
Connect Four brings together a diverse mix of creatives, entrepreneurs, leaders, researchers, activists and beyond, to connect over topics which are not usually explored in our daily lives.
During the first part of the evening, we will delve into 1:1 conversations that are engaging, insightful and promotes the sharing of ideas and collaboration. Topics range from world affairs, social impact, life, culture, anecdotes and more.
The second part of the evening is entirely up to you! We will have an Open Mic available for you to share your story, idea or call to action with the entire room.
Delicious canapes will be provided.
